AFRA on your IPHONE

You do know you can log in from your 3G phone and carry out all the normal functions on the AFRA website don't you? If a member turns up last minute and needs including on a Risk Assessment - He/She can log in prior to participation and fill in the form. This is then emailed to "HQ" as normal and the time/date stamp gives us proof of completion. If you recruit a new member at a show - You can "sign them up" to AFRA immediately (but activation depends upon receipt of a usable photo and joining fee)- If one of the Exec is on site you can make arrangements however to have a card waiting for your new member when they get home nearly!!!!! It's THAT EASY! As time goes on more features will be accessible. You can already log in and check the events calendar and use other features. So bookmark us in your favourites today...... You never know when you are gonna need us!

AFRA RISK ASSESSMENT

At the recent AGM Risk Assessments were discussed at some length. Whilst in the year 2009 around 700 were completed it was only be a small sector of the membership. We acknowledge that many of you join AFRA to benefit from the excellent insurance component and to remain within the terms of the VCRA. In order for you to take advantage of that component, you need to complete a valid risk assessment for the event or LH/Re-enactment activity you are taking part in. To this end we will be including a page in the members area to explain why and how you should take advantage of this facility. We also welcome suggestions for assistance with further improving this innovative feature.
